David Curtis’s WorkingSEO Disclosures & Disclaimers

I’m primarily a web designer and SEO, though I also perform network engineering jobs for a few old clients who feel they’re not going to get the same level of service elsewhere.

But in the off chance that I do decide to place any Amazon links within this site, as I have an account and did sign up for the privileged to make affiliate commissions, Amazon has made it clear that I must place these exact words on this site:

“David Curtis is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to either amazon.com, endless.com, amazonsupply.com, or myhabit.com.”

Other than that, here on my SEO blog I occasionally have affiliate links, primarily for products I’ve written about or use.

There are some links on my site recommending books I’ve read or services or software I use or have thoroughly researched and want to use. some of the links I have on my site are affiliate links, which means I might be paid a commission if you buy the product or service I recommend.

I’m telling you this because the FTC feels that at every point you need to be informed that maybe the thing you’re wanting to buy is being sold to you by someone who wants you to buy it, and that the person selling it might not be upfront and honest with you about it. That’s their opinion, not mine. I won’t try to get you to buy any crap. Promise. I also won’t work for anyone who manufactures crap or provides crappy service. That’s just my thing, and its the truth.
